Photos, top to bottom: 1. Anne and Nonna Paola 2. Duo of nutria. 3. Impression at bottom of water glass. Love the attention to detail. 4. Another Pilsner Urquell sighting.
Our first order of business was lunch at Restaurace U Betlemske kaple. Yum. Then it was off to see nutria on Archer's Island. Folks were feeding them carrots. Nonna Laura was particularly delighted to see these large rodents. Then we walked to the Church of the Infant Jesus of Prague, across the Charles Bridge, then back to the hotel, via stops for gelato and lemonade. Nonna Paola took a restorative nap while Anne and Nonna Laura sought out the town square and, as it started to rain, a classical music concert at St. Nicholas Church. The trio reunited for dinner at Restaurace Stoleti (yum...carrot pancakes, would order again) and, having gained their second wind, went down to the River Vitava to enjoy the sunset. Two nutria and an otter came out to greet us. A happy end to the day.
